1. Whole Bodily Practice and
the Identity-Shifting Function of Whole Bodily Surrender

| This is Part IV-D, Chapter 1 of Chris Tong's book, Finding the Divine In Person and Waking Up From the Dream.[1] | |
The difference between ordinary self-contracted awareness and Divine Enlightenment is that in ordinary self-contracted awareness you identify with the conventional (or phenomenal) self, while in Divine Enlightenment there is Most Perfect Identification with (and Realization of) the Divine Reality.
This is the only difference. Thus, depending on what you identify with, you will live in either one of two ways. One is the usual round of obsession, fear, and seeking — in which the egoic self is the actor and the meaning of the drama. The other is the Way of Unlimited Intelligence, Love, Freedom, Spontaneity, and Infinite Happiness.
When (by Means of My Divine Avataric Transcendental Spiritual Grace) you awaken to True Hearing of Me, you equip yourself to ‘Locate’ and ‘Know’ Me (Transcendentally Spiritually) in the fully technically responsible Seeing context of Adidam. But, even then, the practice is not about receiving Me or receiving the effects of My Transcendental Spiritual (and Always Blessing) Divine Presence and registering them in the body-mind-complex. Secondarily, those things may happen, but your practice is still the Yoga of turning (and, thereby, surrendering) to Me and forgetting yourself to the point of Communing with Me.
Transcendentally-Spiritually-Activated practice in My Divine Avataric Company is not a reception. It is a death. Separate ‘self’ is undone. The principle, the position, and the act of separate ‘self’ are forgotten.
This is how the Transcendental Spiritual course, upon the completion of the first actual Seeing stage of the Reality-Way of Adidam, achieves the profundity that is Identification with the Witness-Position.
