All Adidam practitioners become devotees not because
they have decided to take up a new belief system or a set of spiritual
techniques, but because they have received a unique Revelation:
they have received the Transcendental Spiritual Transmission of Avatar
Adi Da Samraj.
That there are over
a thousand people around the world who can speak about this
Revelation in personal terms is an extraordinary fact and an uncommon
opportunity for those who have been searching for Spiritual Revelation
themselves. (For that matter, so is the Spiritual fact that there
is no limit whatsoever on the number of people who can receive
Adi Da Samraj's Transmission, if only they knew about It and did
what was necessary to make themselves available to It.)
Not all devotees are speakers, but all devotees are
missionaries.
Avatar Adi Da Samraj
By no means are all Adidam devotees trained public speakers. The
devotees of Adi Da Samraj come from all walks of life:
from computer professionals, to artists, to business owners and
employees, to housewives and househusbands. Some are over seventy
years old, some are eighteen. Some have just become devotees, while
others have been devotees for over thirty years, and, by having
"stayed the course" and by having lived it fully, can
attest to the virtue of this Way.
It may be that if you are, say, a computer professional, you may
get more by speaking with a fellow computer professional, than with
a trained Adidam speaker or missionary. Better yet: do both! But,
whatever you do, do respond to this exceptional Spiritual Opportunity.

It is a unique repository of Divine Blessing in the world.
Established during the lifetime of the Divine Avatar, Adi

The European Danda Ashram and Retreat Center
offers retreats for practitioners of the Way of Adidam and
for the public.
Everyone who has had a first introduction to
the Wisdom of Avatar Adi Da Samraj (having participated in
one of our free Where Is Happiness?
retreats) can come to one of our 3 yearly BIG retreats
at the European Danda. These 3-day retreats are hosted by
Adidam speakers (often long-time devotees), to celebrate the
Life and Work of Adi Da with public friends and devotees from
all over Europe. These retreats are held in April, July and
November.

or ashram life, this meetup group is for you. In the course
of the evenings at the Abbotsford arts precinct (1 St. Helliers
St., Melbourne), we offer a time to enter into an exploration
of spirituality, the evenings feature the teachings of Adi
Da Samraj, stories of devotees and DVD footage of the sacred
sighting of Avatar Adi Da Samraj. There will be time for questions
and discussion as well as an opportunity to buy many of the
books written by Him on the all possible areas of life, death,
birth, the nature of existence, spirituality, Art, diet, conscious

The
Auckland centre is in the Waitakere foothills and covers about
sixteen acres of pastureland, native bush, and vegetable and
flower gardens. As you drive in, you pass a small cottage
and a good sized meeting room and bookstore that are used
for retreats, classes and seminars and as well as weekly gatherings
for members, before winding up the grassy hill to its summit.
Here sits a white Victorian building, home to several devotees
of Adi Da. The wider Adidam community meets here to meditate
and chant, and use the library, which contains an excellent
collection of religious and spiritual literature from all
the world's traditions. Also on the property are two horses,
two cats, a lot of bird life and a flock of sheep.
Bookstore and reading room. Books, audiotapes,
and videotapes available for sale. Open by appointment. Mail
order is also available.
We have devotees in China but have not yet established
a formal community there. However, you can read one of our introductory
books, Adi Da and Adidam,
