Tropical Cyclone Winston and Adi Da Samrajashram — On February 20, 2016, tropical cyclone Winston struck Naitauba, causing great devastation. This Category 5 cyclone was the strongest ever recorded in the entire Southern Hemisphere, with winds gusting to nearly 200 miles per hour, creating eight-foot high waves. Longtime devotee residents of Adi Da Samrajashram confirmed that they had experience many cyclones on Naitauba, but had never seen anything like the force of this cyclone. Some of the temples and sacred places were severely damaged, including Aham Da Asmi Sthan. Extraordinary Eyes and Adi Da's My House at Lion's Lap were completely destroyed. Many building lost all or some of their roofs. The Fijian village of Ciqomi was almost entirely destroyed. The devotee village of Qaravi was greatly damaged. The full extent of the damage is still being determined. If you are so moved, you can help restore the sacred island of Naitauba.

The Valley Fire at The Mountain Of Attention The Valley Fire at The Mountain Of Attention — In September, 2015, a devastating fire (called the "Valley Fire") swept through a large area of Lake County, California, with extraordinary speed, burning virtually everything in its path, before 4,000+ firefighters finally succeeded in containing it. Miraculously, the core temples, archives, and residences of The Mountain Of Attention Sanctuary were untouched. However, several outlying buildings and holy sites were destroyed; and the homes of many devotees living near the Sanctuary were also lost. If you are so moved, you can help restore The Mountain Of Attention, or help restore the lives of these devotees.
