Within 30 Days. . . After being downsized out of a job the previous year, a devotee participated in her first Prosperity Puja. Within 30 days, her life was completely different.
The first Prosperity Puja that I participated in was in 2000, shortly after having taken my vow as a practitioner in the Second Congregation of Adidam. My Devotional Prayer of Changes for the Prosperity Puja was for a job that would make it possible to contribute to my family's monthly budget and income. I had been downsized out of a job a year previously and the budget was looking quite a bit more red than green. Within 30 days of the Prosperity Puja, I had a job offer in my desired work area as physical therapy assistant! That meant going from working at minimum wage to quadruple that salary. I still have this job, with the same company, six years later, and have received more in wages and number of hours of work available, and the benefits now include paid vacation. My schedule is also flexible enough to allow for time to take care of my family and to take time off for serving Beloved Adi Da and being on retreat.
