This four-day retreat will be filled with the Revelation and Spiritual
Presence of Adi Da Samraj. The retreat theme will be the uniqueness
of Adi Da's Revelation within the long history of humankind's
spiritual and religious traditions.
The retreat will also include:
Intimate, inspirational stories of the unfolding
of Adi Da's Teaching-Revelation, and of His profound and humorous
Work with devotees.
Revelations about the Ultimate Nature of Reality
and Truth.
Sacred Sightings of Adi Da — Rare videos

speaking about the True Condition of all beings, which is

July 25-28, 2013: The Ecstatic Life of Relationship to the Divine Avatar - a 4-day retreat at the European Danda in Holland, led by James Steinberg.
The
retreat will be held at the European Danda, our Spiritually-Empowered
Center in the south of the Netherlands. The Danda is the Spiritually
Empowered Seat of Adi Da's Blessing in Europe. The Danda is a
former monastery — a quiet place, and a place where Adi
Da twice resided. It houses the the largest
collection in the world of Adi Da’s Transcendental Realist Art,
and art tours and presentations will be offered during the retreat.
Filled with Adi Da’s Presence, it is a perfect location to retire
from worldly stress and distraction to sink into the deepest feeling
of Reality Itself.

Your retreat will include 3 great vegetarian meals per day, contemplative
walks in our private forest and plenty of opportunity to ask devotees
any questions you may have.

James
Steinberghas been a devotee of Avatar Adi
Da Samraj since
1973. He has been personally schooled by Adi Da in
the entire Great Tradition of humankind's religious and
spiritual literature. He is the author of the books, Love
of the God-Man and Divine
Distraction, both about the Guru-devotee relationship
(on which he is a world authority). James has been Graced
to live with Adi Da Samraj in His Island Hermitage, Adi Da Samrajashram in Fiji, and at The Mountain Of Attention Sanctuary in California.
He has represented Adi Da Samraj in meetings with some
of the most famous Spiritual figures in the world, and
is a regular visitor to India in completion of a variety
of Sacred projects. James attended Harvard University
and the University of California, Berkeley, graduating
in 1972. He has two daughters and lives in California.
James will speak to us not only from the perspective
of his extensive study of the Spiritual traditions via
books and personal encounters with many genuine gurus
in India and elsewhere, but also, and more significantly,
from his grace-filled life as a devotee of Adi Da Samraj.
If one wishes to understand the sea, ask a sailor,
a lover of the sea. By the same token, if one wishes
to understand the heart and nature of the Guru-devotee
relationship, ask a real devotee devoted to a real
Guru, a teacher and Master of the heart. James Steinberg
is such a devotee, whose scholarship bows before
insights and knowledge that could only be gained
from this living relationship.

Image-Art, at Adi Da Samrajashram.

Four-Day Retreat
RETREAT TIME: Thursday, July 25 - Sunday, July 28,
2013.
This retreat needs to be taken for the full four days (including
all day Thursday) in order to give all participants the
opportunity to fully enter into the depth of the retreat
process. For this reason, we recommend that you arrive on
Wednesday evening, July 24. (There are no extra charges
for staying over Wednesday night.)
RETREAT LANGUAGE: English, with support services in Dutch, German,
and Finnish.
RETREAT COST: €425. Includes lodgings and meals for 4-day
retreat.
Special "Early Bird" Registration Price: €325.

Flights go with Ryan Air from Stanstead to Eindhoven. Alternatively,
some people drive and take the ferry. Concessionary rates may

The Adi Da Museum of Art is dedicated to the promotion of the art of Adi Da Samraj through exhibitions, lectures, round-table discussions, documentaries as well as seminars on his art and its relationship to various artistic traditions. The Adi Da Museum of Art also exhibits works and supports scholarship inspired by the art and philosophy of Adi Da Samraj.
The gallery maintains a permanent exhibition of works by Adi Da Samraj and is open from Wednesday to Saturday, and once a month on a Sunday, but can also be visited by appointment. The gallery is located in an old monastery in Maria Hoop in the south of Holland close to the borders of Germany and Belgium.
